5. All-inclusive Tours
hiking tour company

Some Utah hiking companies don't provide sleeping bags, sleeping pads, backpacks and other items, or they charge "gear rental" fees for use of these items - on our trips those items are fully included in the trip price. What about meals, permit fees and transportation fees? All totally included. (Some Zion day hikes meet just outside the Park and utilize park shuttles.)

More Information About Zion, Bryce & Escalante Trips

Zion, Bryce and/or Escalante?

Our Utah hiking tours focus on five major areas: Zion and Bryce, the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Paria Slot Canyons, Canyonlands and Arches. We combine Zion, Bryce and the Grand Staircase-Escalante into one destination category. So, in that category how do you decide which trip to do, which area(s) to visit? We have detailed the highlights of each area below with a list of the trips that visit the area.

Zion National Park

Zion is one of Utah's most popular national parks, and for very good reason. Zion is sort of an above-ground Grand Canyon, in that the geologic layers are as sheer and stunning as in Grand Canyon, but they ascend up to buttes and mesas instead of descending into canyons. Defined by 7 geologic layers and the famous Virgin River Narrows, Zion is a hiking paradise with hiking trails appropriate for all abilities. Our Zion hiking tours include a Zion basecamp tour; Zion and Bryce lodge-based tour; and Best of Utah inn-based and basecamp tours; and a Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon inn-based tour.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce is one of the most unique and spectacular landscapes in the world. Defined by its brilliant hoodoos and other mysterious rock formations, Bryce is home to amazing trails with tell-tale names like Queens Garden Loop, Peekaboo Loop, and Fairyland Loop. Our Bryce hiking tours include a Zion and Bryce Lodge-based Tour; Best of Utah inn-based and basecamp tours; a Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon inn-based tour; and a Escalante & Bryce inn-based and basecamp tours.

Grand Staircase-Escalante

The Grand Staircase is one of Utah's best kept secrets, and one of our very favorite hiking destinations in Utah. Boasting slot canyon hikes, arches, spring-fed creeks, waterfalls, and more, it is a hiking paradise. Our Grand Staircase-Escalante tours include Grand Staircase backpacking trips; Best of Utah inn-based and basecamp tours; and Bryce and Escalante inn-based and basecamp tours.
