This tour is a step up from our more
popular South Canyon Journey, in that it is steeper and more strenuous,
and designed more for the eager adventurer. Guided by a professional
female guide, you will hike during the days, wake up to fresh tea or
coffee each morning, then have an optional Yoga stretching session and a
healthy breakfast. If you're ready for an unforgettable adventure in the
Grand Canyon, this tour may be for you!
Starting on the North
Rim, we will descend to the Esplanade - a majestic terrace that offers
incredible views and photo opportunities. The journey then takes you
past Thunder River - one of the most breathtaking features of the Canyon
- where a river is literally erupting from a limestone cliff, then into
the depths of the canyon, where we will have a rest day. We end on the North Rim, where we began, after
exploring the majestic Deer Creek Valley and camping again on the
Esplanade. This is a strenuous and extremely rewarding journey into one
of the most magical places on earth...don't miss it. |
