Do you want to add
some adventure to your Yellowstone visit but are limited by time? This tour may
be your ticket. This is a 3 day hike into the heart of the park, beginning and
ending near Old Faithful. It's central location makes it a perfect opportunity
to sweeten a longer visit with a backcountry trip.
This tour is also
ideal for those seeking a quick backcountry experience that is uniquely
Yellowstone. Shortly after beginning the hike at Old Faithful, we'll
pass the park’s most impressive and largest backcountry geyser. We'll
then hike up and over the Continental Divide and down the “Pacific
Ocean” side to Shoshone Lake - the largest wilderness lake in the lower
48. Here we'll enjoy a truly magnificent camp nestled along the shore of
the lake. Breathtaking scenery and outstanding wildlife opportunities
abound on this fantastic loop hike. Don't miss it!
