Great for a wide range of ages and
abilities, this
tour is our most popular women's journey into the heart of the Grand
Canyon. Guided by a professional female guide, you will hike from the South
Rim via the South Kaibab Trail down to the Colorado River. You
will spend the first two nights at Bright Angel Campground, just a short
distance from historic Phantom Ranch. Waking each morning to a fresh cup
of tea or coffee, you will have the option for a Yoga stretching
session, and then a wonderful breakfast prepared by your guide. On day
two, many of our guests choose to go on a day
hike, explore the canyon bottom and Phantom Ranch, or just relax and
read in camp. The third day will see you moving camp
to Indian Gardens, a famous spring that watered ancient Native American garden plots for
centuries. The fourth day is the ascent back to the South Rim via the
Bright Angel Trail. If you're interested in an all-around classic Canyon
adventure with moderate physical requirements, this trip is for you! |

Where do we Meet?
You will meet your
group at Heritage Square (downtown Flagstaff) for an orientation meeting at 4:00 PM the afternoon before the trip begins.
Your guide will then pick you up at your hotel the next morning for
transport to the trailhead. |
