The Mystic Falls Loop is an enchanting 3-day hike featuring an abundance of geothermal features, a bison summering ground, and two magnificent waterfalls. The hiking begins at the Fairy Falls Trailhead. From here it is a short two mile hike to the first night's camp, passing the famous Grand Prismatic Spring en route. Once camp is made we'll spend the afternoon exploring some fantastic natural features: Spray
and Imperial Geysers and Fairy Falls. The next day we'll hike 7.5 miles to the Little Firehole Meadows. It's a spectacular series of meadows near the headwaters of the Firehole River and is a bison summering ground.
The last day is a beautiful 4.5 mile hike along the Firehole River to the Biscuit Basin Trailhead. En route we'll pass an amazing set of waterfalls called Mystic Falls as well as Biscuit
Basin: a geyser basin containing a number of geysers, hot pots and pools.
