There is an abundance of fantastic hiking in the Grand Canyon away from the popular Corridor Trails. If you're interested in experiencing the wilder side of the Canyon and only have a couple days or a long weekend to fit it in, this tour is for you!
Starting down the famous Grandview Trail, you will be astonished at the beautiful views of this unique and breathtaking part of the Canyon. Much less traveled than the popular Corridor Trails, this route descends a path built by one of the Canyon's most famous miners, Pete Berry, in the late 1800s. His well-built trail winds its way for three miles down unlikely slopes and cliffs before ending at Horseshoe Mesa and the Last Chance Mine.
Once at the mesa, we'll set up camp and then go explore the Cave of the Domes, the only cave in the Grand Canyon that guests are allowed into. The second day features a stunning hike down to Cottonwood Creek, a year round water source and an incredible canyon to explore. The third day sees a hike back to the South Rim and the Grandview Trailhead and then off to the showers. Give us a call to learn more!
