Our Glacier Gorge Loop is an opportunity to do a guided Rocky Mountain National Park backpacking trip into some of the most beautiful high country in the United States with moderate hiking and camps that feature wonderful solitude!
This trip features isolated campsites, meaning we'll have the high country of the Rocky Mountains all to ourselves in the evenings. The hiking features stunning alpine scenery with mountain lakes, wildlife viewing opportunities, glaciers, trickling alpine creeks, high passes and a possible peak ascent (Hallett's Peak, 12,713 feet).
The mileage covered with full packs (30-40 pounds) is relatively short, meaning much of the hiking is done on day excursions. This advantage creates the opportunity for adventurous hiking into the high country and the potential ascent of Hallett's Peak.
