GLACIER GORGE LOOP

Our Glacier Gorge Loop is a guided backpacking trip into some of the most beautiful high country in Colorado. It features moderate hiking and camps with wonderful solitude in the evenings.

The Glacier Gorge area is generally recognized as the most impressive part of Rocky Mountain National Park. We're literally surrounded by the signature characteristics of the Colorado high country - towering peaks, ancient glaciers, and crystal clear lakes.

The mileage covered with full packs (30-40 pounds) is relatively short, meaning much of the hiking is done on day excursions. This advantage creates the opportunity for adventurous hiking into the high country and the potential ascent of Hallett's Peak (12,713 feet).
